several environmental issues believed to be caused by the oil and gas industry, specifically the process of hydraulic fracturing (fracking). According to the speaker, fracking has led to the destruction of land and an increase in harmful chemicals and particulate matter in the atmosphere. The speaker also expresses concern about the overuse of cloud seeding, a process used to create artificial clouds. They believe that the government has been overusing this technique, leading to a lack of natural cloud cover and an increase in toxic waste in the atmosphere. The combination of these factors, along with other environmental hazards, has created a dangerous situation where citizens are being exposed to harmful substances and the environment is being destroyed. The speaker calls for immediate action to address these issues and prevent further damage. factors at play groundwater contamination : anaerobic bacteria soil contamination : storms recently kicked up dirt contaminated with H2S..the smell before the storm was awful frac mines- particulate matter evaporation pools- the only water in the area no clouds coverage - clouds only appear due to silver iodine seeding natural weather-:haboob just kicked all this up

We live in NE Thornton, Colorado. There are drilling sites all around us. Many evenings the air smells like sewer, or rotten eggs. On some cool nights we can’t open the windows because the smell is so bad. I don’t think the air is ever checked but it should be.
